”I am an artist and printmaker working from my home studio in Suffolk. My artistic journey has taken me in different directions, but I feel that I have now settled into a distinctive abstract style.

After training as a designer for the stage I enjoyed a varied career in theatre, TV and opera. Since retiring I have been able to focus on my own creative work. Studying and employing different print making techniques shapes the basis of my work. Recently I have been creating original mixed media pieces by combining and layering these disciplines, adding elements of collage, pastel, acrylic paint and ink. Working with a variety of papers has led me to experiment and explore how wood, board and canvas can add a different dimension to my work.My inspiration comes from everyday observations, found objects (natural and man-made) and photographic imagery.”
