Conversation between Artists

Lyn Peters

Based in Woodbridge, my work focuses on landscape, sky, and floral forms.  I am also drawn to the human figure, often leaving out facial detail in order for posture and placement to carry the work.  An ‘early’ career success was when my painting ‘Ned’ was selected for, and sold at, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2021, and ‘Laura’s House’ was then shortlisted in 2023.” Lyn.

Louise Craigie

“My paintings become inherently reactionary — existing between conscious intention and subconscious instinct, where painting is both deeply considered and profoundly free. While each work begins with a vision, feeling, landscape, or moment, I love to embrace the possibility that the finished piece may evolve beyond its original intention.” Louise
