Suffolk Artist Kate Roocroft studied Textile's specialising in surface print at the University of Central England in 1998 and later focussed on her love of oil painting in 2021 she began selling her work through galleries and exhibitions.

Kate’s creative process is very experimental  and includes building layers with acrylics and oils and mixed media. Creating abstract  and interpretations of local landscapes with simplified blocked areas of colours and many layers to incorporate texture and depth. 

Kates work takes inspiration from artist Paul Klee.
