Cathy Outen, Carolyn Hinchcliffe and Kate Roocroft show new work

Cathy Outen

Horse by Cathy outen

Working with clay has always been Cathy's passion! She loves to explore the feel of it in her hands as a simple ball of clay is transformed into its finished ceramic form.

She works with stoneware clays in her Suffolk garden studio and enjoys experimenting with a variety of glazes and firings to create contrasting colours, finishes and textures.

Carolyn Hinchcliff

"Lupin Purple Emporer " by Carolyn Hinchliffe

Carolyn paints colourful and bold acrylic paintings inspired by nature. Growing up in the Suffolk countryside she has always had a fascination with the natural world.

Carolyn's favourite subjects to paint are botanicals,  birds and butterflies. She is captivated by fleeting moments such as the turquoise flash of a kingfisher in flight. She is also fascinated by the transient ever-changing state of flowers. Her paintings are often a close up view, capturing delicate details in colour tones,  of a flowers petals, or a birds feathers. Carolyn's paintings invite you to look closely at nature's details, and make perfect statement pieces for your home.
