A Walk around Woodbridge by Michael Coulter

Thursday 20 May 2021 open 12.00 noon – thereafter 10.00 am – 5.00 pm –Sundays closed at 1.00 pm ---Wed 2 June

Michael has kept himself busy during lockdown and sourced his material for the exhibition, exercising his observation and imagination walking around Woodbridge. All the works are in watercolour on museum quality backing board, this absorbs the paint giving a dense effect, rather than a wash. His work features everyday life in his own light hearted style, influenced by the artists between the wars. Michael has been exhibiting his work professionally for over forty years throughout the UK and abroad and his work is held in many private, corporate and public collections. His paintings can be seen at The Maltings Gallery, Snape and The Hayletts Gallery, Maldon, Essex.
