About the artists:
Myrna Richmond, having gained a degree in history, returned in her late forties to her first love: art. She was taught at the University of Staffordshire; her work has been shown in the West Midlands. This is her first major exhibition in Suffolk.
Tom Richmond studied film and literature at university before becoming a teacher. He’s interested in everyday landscapes, rubbish and outer space. He uses photos, paint and found objects to create works that explore those things. Tom is exhibiting painted landscapes -some inspired by places in Suffolk- that include metal scraps to depict features of the scene.
