The January exhibition of paintings by John Roberts features, as always, his favourite subjects -the streets of Woodbridge. Not just because it’s home (for over 60 years now) but for the simple reason that the quirky architecture and historical style has produced 'the perfect English country town’, he says. That’s not to say that other local - or not so local - towns are without visual delights (he lists Framingham, Southwold and this year even Budapest and Prague).
So, John moves around with his sketch book and in January 2020 the results can be seen in Artspace Woodbridge everyday from 2nd - 15th between 10am and 5pm. The exception will be on the 2nd of January when wine and music from our resident jazz trio will be on offer between 5-8pm.
