Gillian Plummer has been a ‘Photographer of the Year’, Garden Media Guild Award winner. The judges described her ‘intricate images as truly original, arresting and never to be forgotten’. Her images are mostly taken within Suffolk’s countryside.
Cyndi Speer’s dream-like paintings are of a highly illustrative nature. Swirls of patterns and contrasting tones are built up from a calming colour palette. Her slightly abstracted, enduring images stem from observations of natural history within Suffolk.
Carol Pask’s exquisite stoneware and porcelain ceramics combine traditional methods, e.g. smoke and pit firing. Her sculptural pieces are often fused with metal, wood or slate and are a response to the beauty and fragility within the natural world.
