Sensational Summer

Exhibition of paintings by John Roberts 7th -13th July inclusive

Summer gives us the chance once again to enjoy images of Woodbridge

and the surrounding region by local artist, John Roberts, who never tires

of painting his favourite part of the world.

Indeed, he says that he is constantly reminded of the good fortune that

accidentally brought him to the area to buy a yacht some 60 years ago

in order to sail away to an imagined paradise.

At once he realised that he had already arrived in that very place without

the need for ocean voyaging.

So after a lifetime of painting in the locality, those images are now held by 

collectors around the world. So some world travel did happen after all…
